South Korea's D-10 visa is designed for foreign job seekers looking for employment in Korea. It allows holders to stay in Korea for up to 6 months while searching for work. The visa is particularly popular among graduates of Korean universities and skilled professionals. Once employment is found, holders can transition to appropriate work visas (E-series).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, OR
  • Completion of studies at Korean university (D-2 visa holders), OR
  • Completion of training program in Korea (D-4 visa holders), OR
  • Previous E-series employment visa holders
  • Valid passport
  • Proof of sufficient funds
  • Health insurance
  • Diploma/degree certificate
  • Transcript (for recent graduates)
Restrictions
  • Cannot engage in employment during visa validity
  • Part-time work limited to certain categories and hours
  • Must actively search for employment
  • Must transition to work visa once employed
Processing

Processing time: 2-4 weeks

Fee: KRW 60,000 (approximately USD 45)

Apply at Korean immigration office in Korea (for status change) or Korean embassy/consulate abroad
